SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven women's soccer team scored in each half to take down Shippensburg 2-0 on the road in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division showdown on Wednesday night (Oct. 29).
Olivia Hudson and
Maci Shaffer scored and
Megan Miller pitched a shutout to lead the Bald Eagles to victory.
The Haven surpassed its win total from 2024 and improved to 4-8-2 overall and 2-8-2 in the PSAC. The Raiders fell to 3-8-3 on the season and 2-8-3 in the conference.
Women's soccer finished this season 1-0-1 against the Raiders, after tying 1-1 on Oct. 4.
The Bald Eagles, who scored multiple goals for the second time this season, led the Raiders in shots, 11-3, including 6-3 on goal.
Hudson scored off an assist from Julia Taveras in the 15
th minute, while Shaffer's insurance goal came in the 59
th minute.
Shaffer led the team with three shots, including two on net.
Miller, who broke the women's soccer program record for saves in a career last time out, finished with three saves in the 90 minutes.

The Bald Eagles remain on the road and will travel to West Chester on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 2 p.m. for a PSAC East match.
