PHILADELPHIA – The Lock Haven men's wrestling team competed in the PRTC Keystone Classic on Sunday (Nov. 23) at the University of Pennsylvania's Palestra. Lock Haven finished third out 11 schools with 103.5 points, including one second, two thirds, two fifths and three eighth-place finishers.
No. 27
Wyatt Henson (141) brought home silver at 141 pounds with a 3-1 record including a pair of tech falls.
No. 32
Tucker Hogan placed third at 197 pounds after going 3-1 with a tech fall.
No. 26
Gable Strickland also finished third at 133 Ibs. and finished with a 2-1 record including a major decision.
No. 28
Lucas Kapusta and No. 32
Avery Bassett placed fifth at 149 and 174, respectively.
Kapusta racked up four wins on the day and secured a fall (00:53) and a major decision.
Bassett also won four matches and notched a major decision.
Lucas Fye,
Nick Stampoulos and
Kade Sottolano all placed eighth at 125, 157 and 285, respectively.

Curtis Nelson secured and upset victory over No. 2 seed and 29
th-ranked Caleb Weiand (Michigan State) at 125 Ibs. with a 6-0 decision.
