No. 3W Men’s Soccer set for PSAC Tournament Quarterfinal at No. 2E West Chester

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven men's soccer team kicks off its first Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Tournament appearance since 2021 on Monday, Nov. 10, and the No. 3 (West) Bald Eagles will travel to second-seeded (East) West Chester for the quarterfinals. The match will kick off at 1 p.m. at West Chester's John A. Rockwell Field.

Free admission for students from member institutions with valid I.D.

The Bald Eagles earned the No. 3 seed in the Western Division after finishing the regular season with a 4-3-3 mark. During the heart of the season, the Bald Eagles used a seven-game unbeaten streak to vault its way into the postseason.
 
The offense featured 10 goal scorers and were led by striker Kade Black, who ranks fifth in the PSAC with nine goals, and Billy Lawrence, who ranks tied for fifth in assists (six). Camden Marquette was also a spark plug off the bench this season and finished with five goals and a pair of assists. Carter Rosno added two goals and five assists.
 
The Bald Eagles featured one of the top defensive units in the conference in the likes of Danny Ogan, Scott Manning and Owen Lichtenwalner.
 
In net, multiple-time PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week Ethan Beck racked up seven shutouts and finished with 43 saves.
 
On Tuesday, Lock Haven was ranked 10th in the United Soccer Coaches Atlantic Region Rankings.

The PSAC Men's Soccer Semifinal is set for Friday, Nov. 14 and will be hosted at No. 1 seed in the West Gannon. The winner of West Chester and Lock Haven will take on Gannon, while the winner of No. 2 (West) Seton Hill vs. No. 3 (West) Bloomsburg will face No. 1 (East) Millersville.
