FULL RESULTS
EVANSTON, Ill. – The Lock Haven women's wrestling team traveled to Evanston, Illinois, to compete in the Ken Kraft Midlands Championships hosted by Northwestern University on Tuesday (Dec. 30). The field consisted of 18 schools along with many unattached wrestlers.
Lock Haven was led by
Presley McCandlish (160), who took fourth place. McCandlish won three matches on the day with a pin, a tech fall and a decision.
Lindsay Laws (207) placed sixth by picking up two tech falls.
Freshman
Journie Rodriguez (117) picked up three wins for the Bald Eagles, all via tech fall and placed sixth.
Isabella DeVito (131) scored a pin and a pair of tech falls while finishing 3-2 on the day.
Charlotte Gilfoil (138) picked up a pin,
Azariah Moore (180) and
Marissa Rumsey (145) both picked up a tech fall and
Anna Lackey (110) picked up a win via default.

The Lock Haven women's wrestling team will head to Collegeville, Pa., next Sunday (Jan. 11) to compete in the Ursinus Duals.
