BETHLEHEM, Pa. (Sunday, March 2) – Lock Haven men's track & field standout
Ryan Miller was named the 2025 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Indoor Track & Field Scholar Champion and was honored today during the awards ceremony following the conclusion of the two-day championship meet.
A graduate senior from Bradford, Pennsylvania, Miller maintains an unblemished 4.0 grade point average. Miller earned his undergraduate degree in Biology (Ecology-Environmental), with minors in Professional Geology and Environmental Studies in May and is currently studying in the Biology graduate program.
Earlier today at the PSAC Championship, Miller added another medal to his decorated career by taking home silver in the men's 400-meter dash.
In the past two academic seasons, Lock Haven has brought home four PSAC Scholar Champions, including two from Miller.
Miller was named the PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Scholar Champion last May.
The PSAC Champion Scholar Awards are modeled after the NCAA's Elite 90 award and honor the student-athlete with the top grade-point average who is competing at the site of each of the PSAC's finals sites. The selection criteria for the Champion Scholar awards is identical to that of the NCAA Elite 90 awards, which honor the student-athlete with the top GPA at each of the championship finals sites of the 90 NCAA championships across all three divisions – I, II and III.
