LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Bryce Vincent of the Lock Haven baseball team was named All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) as a shortstop, the conference office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
A graduate transfer from Saint Ambrose University, Vincent led the Bald Eagles with a .350 batting average, raking up 43 hits in 123 at bats. He also drew a team-high 18 walks and was hit three times for a program-leading on-base percentage of .435.
His batting average ranked 22
nd in the conference.
Hitting in the heart of the Bald Eagle lineup, Vincent drove in a team-high 26 runs with nine doubles and two homers.
Vincent had multiple hits in 12 games, including going a perfect 4-for-4 with a home run against University of Pitt-Johnstown.
On April 19 at home against UPJ, Vincent hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh to lead the Bald Eagles to a 5-4 victory.
In the field as the Bald Eagles' shortstop, the grad senior finished with a .935 fielding percentage in 123 chances, while turning a team-high 20 double plays.
