RICHMOND, Va. – The Lock Haven field hockey team opened Atlantic-10 (A-10) Conference play on Friday (Sept. 19) by traveling to Richmond. The Haven fell on the road, 8-0.
Richmond scored in each quarter, highlighted by three goals in the third to earn the victory.
In cage,
Kelsey Felix finished with a game-high 10 saves in 46 minutes, while
Taryn Dolka added a save in 14 minutes.
On offense, The Haven ran into a strong Richmond defensive unit and finished with three shots from
Paula Sigley,
Brynlee Pinschenat and
Molly Lynch.
The Haven moves to 0-7 overall and 0-1 in the A-10. Richmond is now 4-3 on the season and 1-0 in conference play.

The Haven is set to host Delaware for its home opener on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 21 at 2 p.m. at Charlotte Smith Field.
