INDIANA, Pa. – The Lock Haven volleyball team traveled to Indiana (Pa.) for a mid-week out-of-conference match. The Crimson Hawks won the match 3-1 (25-17, 25-11, 22-25, 25-18) on Tuesday night (Sept. 30).
The Bald Eagles' best set came in third, outscoring IUP 25-22 with 14 kills in the frame.
Maddie Mitchell led the Bald Eagles' offense with 14 kills in the contest. Mitchell also added eight digs to the stat sheet.
Gabby Gealey finished with 12 assists and
Madelyn Wagner followed with 11.
Natalie Acevedo added three aces.
Olivia Taylor supplied the Bald Eagle's defense with 10 digs.
Lock Haven falls to 3-10 overall and IUP improves to 10-3 overall.
The Bald Eagles will look to build off their 1-0 start in conference play with their next seven contests all coming against PSAC East division opponents.
