TOWSON, Md. – The Lock Haven field hockey team hit the road for the third straight time to start the season and traveled to Towson University for a non-conference game on Friday (Sept. 5) afternoon. Towson won the contest 5-1.
Cyan Kvacky scored the Bald Eagles' lone goal in the 13
th minute off an assist from
Molly Lynch.
Kvacky's goal knotted the game at 1-1 in the first period, but Towson scored four-unanswered goals to close out the contest.
The Haven finished with eight shots on goal, led by a pair each from
Madison Friend and
Brynlee Pinschenat.
In cage,
Kelsey Felix finished with 10 saves in 51 minutes, before
Taryn Dolka (three saves) finished out the game.
The Bald Eagles move to 0-3 on the young season and Towson improves to 1-2.

The Bald Eagles will remain in Maryland and will take on Georgetown on Sunday, Sept. 7 at 3 p.m. in a neutral site game hosted by Towson University.
