TOWSON, Md. – The Lock Haven field hockey team wrapped up its weekend trip in Maryland by taking on Georgetown on Sunday (Sept. 7), hosted on the campus of Towson. Georgetown came away with a 4-1 victory.
Georgetown scored the opening four goals of the contest, before the Bald Eagles connected in the fourth quarter to round out the scoring.
For Lock Haven,
Brynlee Pinschenat found the back of the cage for the first time this season in the final period off an assist by
Kendall Siegle. The Haven outshot the Hoyas 3-1 in the fourth.
The Haven finished with six shots (four on goal), led by a team-high by
Paula Sigley.
In cage,
Taryn Dolka finished with eight saves in her first start of the season.
The Bald Eagles move to 0-4 overall and Georgetown improves to 2-2.

The Haven remains on the road and will travel to Bloomington, Indiana when they visit Indiana for a non-conference game at 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12.
