Women’s Basketball closes PSAC crossover schedule by visiting No. 5 Gannon

The Bald Eagles wrapped up their 2025-26 PSAC East vs. West crossover schedule by visiting No. 5 Gannon on Saturday

ERIE, Pa. – The Lock Haven women's basketball game visited No. 5 Gannon for the program's final Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East vs. West crossover game of the year on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 3. Gannon won the battle between the PSAC Eastern and Western Division favorites, 74-51.

Lock Haven will head into PSAC East play at 6-5 overall and 2-3 in the conference. Gannon is now 14-1 on the season and 6-0 in the PSAC.

Gannon built a 36-16 halftime lead behind a 15-7 first quarter and a 21-9 second, and the early deficit proved too much for Lock Haven to overcome.

The Bald Eagles settled in after the break, scoring 17 in the third and 18 in the fourth, but Gannon matched them with 18 and 20 points, respectively, to close out the 23-point final margin.

The Bald Eagles' bench provided a major lift with 29 points, and Lock Haven turned Gannon's miscues into 19 points off turnovers, but Gannon answered with 38 points in the paint and 11 fast-break points.

Nufi Nemale-Djiegoue came off the bench to spark Lock Haven with a team-high 15 points on 5-of-8 shooting, including 3-of-6 from three, while adding two rebounds and a steal in 30 minutes.

Sydney Lear chipped in seven points and two assists, while Lacey Kriebel hit a pair of threes and finished with six points and five rebounds.

Jenadia Jordan stuffed the box score with eight points, a team-high seven assists, four rebounds and a steal, and Rhlyn Rouse pulled down a team-best six boards to go with four points.
