Presley McCandlish are set to travel to Coralville, Iowa to represent Lock Haven in the first NCAA Women's Wrestling Championships on Friday and Saturday (Mar. 6 & 7).
History will be made on Friday as the Bald Eagles will be a part of the first-ever NCAA Women's Wrestling National Championship.

Brackets released for 2026 NCAA Women's Wrestling Championship
Road to Iowa:
Lindsay Laws (207#) earned her NCAA Championship berth by winning the NCAA Region 2 Title. Laws went 3-0 in the region and pinned all three opponents. Laws enters the national tournament 20-8 overall with 14 pins.
Azariah Moore captured second place in the 180# division behind two tech falls and a 10-4 decision in the semifinals. Moore comes in at 26-6 with 19 tech falls.
Jayleah Pletz (124#) earned runner-up with two pins and an 8-0 decision in the semifinals. Pletz carries a 24-11 record with a combined 17 pins and tech falls
Presley McCandlish (160#) also collected silver behind two pins and a 14-4 tech fall in the semifinals. McCandlish is 26-6 with a combined 20 pins and tech falls.
