SALEM, W.Va. –  The Lock Haven baseball team traveled back down to West Virginia for the final time this season to face Salem in a four-game series this weekend. The Bald Eagles fell in both games, 15-2.
Game 1: Salem 15 – Lock Haven 2
The Bald Eagles scratched across seven hits, with Gardner Fravel and Tom Rohan each getting two hits in the contest.
Zachary McEllroy, Kellen Jackson, and Dylan Metzger also picked up base knocks.
Evan Schmelz went four innings in relief for The Haven, giving up three runs - all unearned, on four hits, striking out four as well.
Game 2: Salem 15 – Lock Haven 2 (5 Innings, Darkness)
Game two was called early due to darkness after the top of the fifth.
The Haven had six different players in the hit column, with Braden Cummings being the lone batter with an extra base hit (3B).
Lock Haven falls to 1-8 on the season.

The Bald Eagles will return to action on Sunday, Mar. 8 to take on Salem University in the last two games of the four-game set. First pitch slated to be 1:00 PM.
