LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven women's track & field team had six student-athletes named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced on Tuesday afternoon.
To be eligible to earn CSC Academic All-District recognition, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and own a cumulative GPA above 3.50.
For Track & Field, CSC Academic All-District nominees must have earned a top-50 performance in their respective event among the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region.
Mallory Eck (4.00, Business),
Alyssa VanGorder (3.77, Middle Level Education),
Maria Puglia (3.96, Health & Physical Education),
Kaydence Strange (4.00, Health Science),
Nicole Carroll (3.52, Exercise Science) and
Clarissa Davis (3.77, Psychology) were honored for their excellence in the classroom and in their respective events.
The 2026 Academic All-District® teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
