ERIE, Pa. – The Lock Haven women's soccer team (4-4-0, 3-3-0 PSAC) fell to Gannon(4-2-1, 4-2-1 PSAC), 3-0, on Saturday afternoon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division action.
Gannon scored once in the first half and added two goals early in the second half to secure the conference victory over Lock Haven
Lock Haven generated three first-half shots, including shots on goal by
Lily O'Brien and
Colleen Lloyd, but Gannon made both saves to preserve the 1-0 halftime lead.
Gannon extended its advantage to 3-0 with goals in the 53
rd and 55
th minute.
Lock Haven's best scoring chance of the second half came in the 77th minute, when
Brooke Gehret placed another shot on target.
Gannon held a 21-4 advantage in total shots and a 9-3 edge in shots on goal.
Devon Mason made six saves in goal for Lock Haven, including three in each half. Lloyd led the Bald Eagles with two shots, while O'Brien and Gehret each recorded one shot on goal.

The Bald Eagles return home on Wednesday, Sept. 23 to host Pitt-Johnstown in a PSAC West match at 6:30 p.m. at Hubert Jack Stadium.
