Lock Haven Athletics

Junior Rachel Valentine of the field hockey team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways / GoLHU.com Women’s Athlete of the Week.

She helped Lock Haven take down Saint Louise in the Atlantic 10 Conference opener for both teams on Saturday. LHU beat the Billikens 3-1 for The Haven’s sixth straight victory. Valentine tallied a pair of goals in the win and was credited with the game-winner. She put Lock Haven up 1-0 in the 28^th minute and made it 2-0 in the 52^nd minute of play as LHU rolled.
