Jake Heim of the LHU track and field team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways / GoLHU.com Men’s Athlete of the Week.

Last week at Cornell’s Big Red Invitational, thrower Jake Heim lead the way for Lock Haven. Heim won the shot put with a season and personal-best mark of 52-04.75. Easily a PSAC qualifying mark, it sits as the third-best throw of the season entering championship action. Heim added a fourth-place finish in the discus with a throw of 131-05.00, coming up just shy of a PSAC qualifying mark. Heim will enter PSAC Championships later this week.
