Jake Belinda of the LHU baseball team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Men’s Athlete of the Week.

Junior Bald Eagle pitcher Jacob Belinda (Port Matilda, Pa./Tyrone) was nothing short of spectacular on Saturday when he led Lock Haven to an important PSAC East win over Shippensburg. He threw a two-hit gem on the way to a complete game victory. LHU won 3-1 one and Ship’s only run was an unearned one. Over seven innings of work, Belinda struck out 10 and allowed only one walk.
