Lysa Mealing of the LHU women’s basketball team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Female’s Athlete of the Week.

Mealing recorded back-to-back double-doubles last week for LHU, guiding Lock Haven to a 1-1 week as The Haven opened PSAC East play. In Friday’s thrilling overtime-win over Kutztown, Mealing had 12 points and 18 rebounds.

Prior to that, she scored 10 points and added 12 rebounds in a narrow loss to East Stroudsburg, one of the top teams in the Eastern Division.
