For the second straight week sophomore Alex Monroe (Lewistown, Pa./Indian Valley) of the Lock Haven University men’s cross country team has been named the www.GoLHU.com Male Athlete of the Week.

In just this second race of the year Monroe won the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships.

Monroe covered the 8K course in 24:31.5 to lead LHU to a third-place showing.
