Scott Davern of the LHU men’s track & field team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Men’s Athlete of the Week.

Last weekend, Davern and the Bald Eagles competed at the Bison Outdoor Classic hosted by Bucknell University where Davern ran to two Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship qualification times.

In the 800-meter run, Davern finished 12th and was the second fastest Division II runner as he crossed the line in a time of 1:56.72. In the 1,500-meter run, he clocked a time of 4:03.56 as he placed eighth overall and was the third DII runner to cross the line.
