Senior Marcus Disbrow (Jonestown, Pa./Northern Lebanon) had a monster outing at the Jim Taylor Invitational hosted by Susquehanna University. He won the hammer throw with a spectacular effort of 193-04.00. It was a personal-best throw and the second-best mark in LHU history. At the time of the throw, it was the best in the PSAC by nearly 30 feet. As of Monday morning, it was still 15-feet better than the next best thrower in the league. It marked an NCAA Divisions II provisional mark and a PSAC championship qualifying mark. It currently ranks 10^th in Division II. Disbrow followed it up with another strong effort in the discus throw. His personal-best throw of 152-05.00 (2^nd overall at the meet) hit a PSAC qualifying mark and was just shy of an NCAA mark. It’s the eighth-best mark in LHU history and currently ranks fifth in the PSAC.
