Freshman Jazmin Palma of the Lock Haven University field hockey team was been named this week's Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10) Rookie of the Week after scoring a brilliant goal in the Bald Eagles' stunning A-10 win over Richmond Friday night.

Palma's incredible overtime game-winner headlined the Bald Eagles' late-game heroics that helped LHU secure the come-from-behind win over Richmond. After tying the game late in regulation, Palma scored just 4:02 into overtime after she grabbed the ball at midfield, and sprinted by and through the entire Richmond defense, before slotting the ball to the left corner behind the Spider goalkeeper.

She added three shots in a loss to Long Island Sunday.
