Krista Jones led the No. 6 regionally ranked Lock Haven women's cross-country team to Kutztown for the Division II/III Challenge meet, where the freshman won the 6K race with a time of 23:14.6, helping to lead the Bald Eagles to the first-place team finish. Her performance won the race by 19 seconds and her individual title headlined the 128-runner field. This marks just her second event with the team as she has already made her mark after this win.
