Freshman Justice Shoats continues to take the outdoor track and field scene by storm after a remarkable rookie season on the court for the LHU men’s basketball team. This weekend, he led the way for the Lock Haven men’s outdoor track and field team at the gigantic two-day Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic. Competing among an elite field that was Division I heavy, Shoats was stellar in a pair of jumping events. He was second in the high jump Sunday with mark of 6-08.00 (#PSAC). He was second of 30-plus in the field and his mark is the second-best in the high jump this season in the PSAC. On Saturday, he was eighth in the long jump with a PSAC leap of 22-11.75. Shoats added an individual PSAC qualifying time in the 100-meter dash Sunday with a time of 10.99.
