Gao Xuan (Dong Ying, China/Zibo No. 10 Middle School) of LHU volleyball team has been named the
www.GoLHU.com Female Athlete of the Week.
Earlier in the week Xuan was named the PSAC East Athlete of the Week.
Xuan led the Lady Eagles to a 3-1 record at the LHU Classic.
The senior started the weekend off with 19 kills, nine digs and four blocks against Malone. She recorded a .325 hitting percentage as she led LHU to a 3-2 win.
Xuan closed out the first day of the Classic with seven kills and 17 digs in a 3-1 defeat of LIU-Post.
Xuan saw limited playing time in The Haven's first match on the tournament's final day, a 3-0 win over Alderson-Broaddus. She had five kills before being pulled early in the second set.
In her final match of the weekend, Xuan recorded 18 kills and 10 digs in a 3-1 loss to Ashland.
Xuan finished the weekend with 49 kills and 40 digs to go along with 12 blocks and a .270 hitting percentage.
