LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - It was a packed house last night in LHU's Thomas Fieldhouse as the men's and women's basketball teams officially opened the 2017-18 winter sports season with the "Fieldhouse Frenzy."
 
The LHU men's and women's basketball staffs wanted to thank everyone for coming out and supporting the teams and event.
 
The LHU marching and pep band was on hand to rock the fieldhouse and the cheerleaders did a great job pumping up a packed Thomas Fieldhouse crowd.
 
Along with games, contests, giveaways and fan participation, several student dance groups entertained the crowd on the night.
 
The night also served as an introduction to the other winter sports teams and their captains as wrestling, swimming and women's indoor track & field were all on hand to be recognized.
 
Amir Hinton brought the crowd to its feet with several high-flying dunks on the way to the dunk contest title and sharp-shooter Rileigh Devine took home the 3-point shooting contest prior to a short exhibition scrimmage by both the men's and women's basketball teams.
