LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's basketball team is set to open the 2018-19 season this weekend at the Wolf's Bus Lines Classic hosted by Shippensburg University. The Bald Eagles will open the season Saturday, November 10 against Lincoln at 1:00 PM before playing Virginia Union on Sunday, November 11 at 3:00 PM.
 
Last season, LHU went 8-18 overall and recorded a 6-16 mark in the PSAC. The Bald Eagles completed a season sweep over both rivals Mansfield and Cheyney.
 
Lock Haven's leading returning scorer is sophomore guard Matt Cerruti who averaged 10.9 points per game. Cerruti also led the team with 37 made 3-pointers and shot 39 percent from behind the arc in the process. Jihad Barnes, a redshirt junior, is the leading returner in assists with 2.5 per game and he also averaged six points per game.
 
The Bald Eagles were picked to finish seventh in the PSAC East in the PSAC preseason poll.
