Amir Hinton of the LHU men’s basketball team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Men’s Athlete of the Week.

Hinton led LHU to a 2-0 weekend at the Wolf’s Bus Lines Classic hosted by Shippensburg University.

Against Penn State Fayette Hinton scored 21 points, shooting 10-17 from the field. He also finished with seven rebounds, four of which were offensive, and five assists.

In game two Hinton dropped 24 points, going 10-19 from the field. Hinton shot 40% from the three-point line and he added five steals in the game. Hinton is second in the conference in points/game and leads the conference in steals.
