Breanna McDonald of the LHU volleyball team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Female’s Athlete of the Week.

McDonald helped pace the LHU offense to a 3-1 record at the Shepherd Showdown hosted at Shepherd University this past weekend. In all she recorded 49 kills on 80 attempts (.562%) while only having four attacking errors averaging 3.50 kills per set.

In the 3-0 victory over Virginia State, McDonald recorded 11 kills and had one service ace. In the 3-1 loss to Shepherd she had 15 kills and a total of three blocks.

In the 3-0 Alderson Broaddus win she had 10 kills on 12 total attacks and added in two service aces. To cap off the weekend against Ursuline (3-1 win) she finished with 13 kills and a total of four blocks.
