Keyshawn D’Orso of the LHU baseball team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Men’s Athlete of the Week.

D’Orso had a huge week at the plate for the Bald Eagles. For the week, D’Orso hit .333 with a .667 slugging percentage and a .429 on-base percentage while tallying 10 RBI’s, four runs scored and two home runs.

D’Orso’s week was highlighted by a bigtime doubleheader at Mansfield in which he went 5-8 with 10 RBI’s, four runs scored and two home runs. In the first game of that series, D’Orso went a perfect 4-4 at the plate with seven RBI’s, three runs scored, and two home runs. His second home run, a two-run shot, came in the top of the seventh inning with LHU trailing 10-8 with two outs to tie the game. In the second game, D’Orso came up big again for LHU as he knocked in three more runs in that game to go along with a run scored.
