Lock Haven Athletics

Vanita Moses of the Lock Haven University women's track and field team has been named the GoLhu.com female athlete of the week.

Moses continued her solid season with a first-place showing at the New York Armory’s Saturday at the Armory I meet. She took first overall in a Division I field women’s weight throw. Her mark of 57-5.00 was good enough for first out of 23 athletes and also marked an NCAA provisional mark. The mark was just off Moses PSAC leading throw from earlier in the year, which is ranked, 12th in the nation.
