LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University football team and head coach
John Allen have announced a new partnership with the Binghamton Tigers Cats of the Independent Women's Football League to promote Lock Haven's upcoming Ladies Football Clinic.
Allen and the Bald Eagles are very proud to announce the new partnership.
“This will be the first of its kind for Women's football and having the Binghamton Tiger Cats partner with us on this camp was important,” Allen said. “Both programs want to see the future of women's tackle football grow and expand.”
The Binghamton Tiger Cats are proud to be partnered with LHU football in our quest to increase awareness, improve skills and promote women's tackle football for all current and future players and supporters in the North East and across the United States.
“We feel the steps being taken by LHU football will further legitimize women's tackle football for the Tiger Cats as well as all other women's football organizations,” said Donald Dunbar Jr., owner of the Binghamton Tiger Cats
Both programs are looking forward to future endeavors in the sport of women's tackle football.
