Lock Haven Athletics

The Athletic Department is seeking dependable undergraduate students to work in the following areas: Equipment Room, Weight Room, Pool and Game Day Operations.
 
Equipment Room Worker
Assists the Thomas Field House Equipment Manager with:

• Laundering all soiled gear, uniforms, etc.
• Inventorying, issuing and collecting gear and equipment.
• Responsible for completing other duties as assigned by the Equipment Manager or Athletic Administration:
• *Please Note: Must be able to work sometime from 6am - 8am, 4pm - 8pm with occasional weekend hours.
•  Pay Rate: Minimum Wage

Weight Room Monitor
Assists the Weight Room Supervisor with:

• Monitoring of the weight room during open hours.
• Ensuring all weight room rules are being followed.
• Maintaining facility organization and cleaning of equipment.
• Responsible for completing other duties as assigned by the Weight Room Supervisor or Athletic Administration:
• *Please Note: Must be able to work sometime from 11am - 5pm Monday - Friday.
• All monitors must be CPR/AED certified at the time of employment.
• Pay Rate: Minimum Wage

Game Day Operations
Assists the Director of Game Operations with:

• Setting up and break down for all home contests and athletic department special events,
• Serving in various roles on game day including but not limited to concessioner, parking attendant, ticket taker, announcer, scoreboard operator, chain gang member and ball runner, etc.).
• Responsible for completing other duties as assigned by Athletic Administration.
• *Please Note: Must be able to work sometime from noon – 9pm Monday - Friday, Weekend hours will vary depending upon sport competing.

Lifeguards
Responsible for:

• Supervision of Zimmerli Pool including but not limited to the safety of the patrons.
• Completing other duties as assigned by Head Swim Coach or Athletic Administration.
• Please Note: Must be able to work a variety of hours.
• All lifeguards must hold certifications in lifeguarding, CPR/AED at the time of employment.
