Lock Haven Athletics Internship Program,
For over ten years, the Lock Haven University Athletic Department has offered the valuable opportunity to learn the inner-workings of athletic administration through its unique internship program. The interns will report to the Director of Athletics, the Associate Director of Athletics/Senior Woman Administrator, or the assigned staff member. Specifically, internships are provided in the areas of Event Management/Facility Operations, Marketing & Promotions, Development/Fund Raising, Compliance, Athletic Communications & Marketing and Medical Services. Interns may also have the opportunity to participate in activities across multiple areas of interest, providing them the opportunity to both learn about their specific areas of interest and gain practical experience in the overall operation of an NCAA athletic program.
Â
Lock Haven has attracted interns from many different areas and schools, including Penn State Law, Florida Coastal School of Law, Georgia Southern University, West Georgia University, and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, in addition to Lock Haven University.
Â
Lock Haven University is looking for interested, qualified candidates for its Athletic Department internship program, which is available annually, by semester or summer.
