LHU responded however and a 23-yard field goal from Heimer with 55 seconds left in the half capped off an 11-play, 66-yard drive.

The Lakers however were also quick to respond and took the ensuing kickoff back 90-yards for a score thanks to Trevor Kennedy.

Quarterback Jarryd Burkett (Altoona, Pa./Altoona), who made his third start under center for LHU this season went 12-for-23 for 121 yards.
