Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 ASHLAND, Ohio - The Lock Haven University volleyball team went 1-1 today on the second day of play at the 2013 Quality Inn and Suites Ashland University Invitational.

Lock Haven (5-3) beat Cedarville 3-2 (25-18, 14-25, 19-25, 30-28 & 15-12), but lost to Tusculum 3-2 (25-15, 26-24, 15-25, 23-25 & 15-11).

Kaleigh Hudak (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom High) led LHU in the win over Cedarville with 12 kills. Megan Flick (Howard, Pa./Bald Eagle) added eight kills and Cody Anderson (Johnsonburg, Pa./Johnsonburg)  chipped in with six.

Jessica Brown (Fawn-Grove, Pa./Kennard Dale) recorded 35 assists and Stephanie Doherty (East Earl, Pa./Garden Spot) recorded eight blocks. Flick added five blocks.

Hudak led the way again vs. Tusculum and finished with 13 kills. Brown added 48 assists.

Flick was named to the All-Tournament Team. 

Next weekend, Friday and Saturday, September 20 & 21, Lock Haven hosts the LHU Classic. Lock Haven will play four matches over the two days.

- Lock Haven went a perfect 4-0 last week at Shepherd's Hampton Inn Ram Rumble Tournament.
- Yesterday, LHU lost to host Ashland (3-0) and nationally-ranked Wheeling Jesuit (3-0).
- Wheeling Jesuit was ranked 18th nationally last week and received 44 votes in this week's national poll.
- This week's competition marks the second of three straight tournaments for LHU to open the 2013 season.
