LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University swim team was edged by visiting Kutztown today, 152-106.

Kayla Schnars (Bellefonte, Pa./Bellefonte) swam well for the Haven today, recording first place finishes in the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke events with times of 1:07.86 and 2:18.15, respectively.

Danielle Parowski (Altoona, Pa./Univ. of Pitt) recorded a time of 11:23.30 in the 1000-yard freestyle and
Emily Shultz (Lock Haven, Pa./SUNY Stony Brook) recorded a mark of 13:09.13 alongside Parowski.

Carley Nitchie (Forest Hill, Md./Bel Air) and
Abby Miller (Levittown, Pa./Neshaminy) grabbed a two-three finish in the 50-yard freestyle for LHU.

Kristen Taylor (Dillsburg, Pa./Northern York) earned second-place finishes in the 100-yard 200-yard butterfly events with times of 1:03.89 and 2:20.32, respectively.

The Lady Eagles record a strong finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a first place finish. Nitchie, Miller, Parowski, and
Kristen Capretti (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest) earned a time of 1:46.08.
