Box Score LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University football team (0-2, 0-1 PSAC) dropped its 2014 home and PSAC-opener today to visiting Seton Hill (1-1, 1-0 PSAC), 27-16.

The Bald Eagles led 10-7 at halftime, but Seton Hill rallied for 20 second-half points to escape Hubert Jack Stadium with the victory.

Seton Hill struck first, taking the opening drive of the game 74 yards for a touchdown.

With 12:48 left in the second quarter, Lock Haven tied the game at 7-7 after
Caleb Walton (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central) hooked up with
David Cook (Boiling Springs, Pa./Boiling Springs) on a 36-yard touchdown pass. Cook made a sensational grab, keeping his feet in in the corner of the end zone.

Alex Boumerhi's (Philipsburg, Pa./Philipsburg-Osceola) 42-yard field goal with 2:16 left in the first half sent the Bald Eagles into the break leading, 10-7.

The second half proved to be the difference however, as Seton Hill found the back of the end zone three times, stretching the lead to 27-10.

With 5:05 left in the game, Lock Haven capped the game's scoring after
Beau Swales (Clearfield, Pa./Clearfield) caught a 10-yard TD pass from Walton.
It was Walton's third touchdown pass of the season.

Walton finished 22-for-41 for 240 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 32 yards.

Cook was Walton's main target today, finishing with eight catches for 123 yards. It was the Bald Eagles first 100-yard plus receiver since Week 7 of last season.

Defensively, Lock Haven got a sensational effort from
Tony Ballon (Jersey City, N.J./Harrisburg), who finished with a game-high nine tackles.
Daniel Strawbridge (Harrisburg, Pa./Harrisburg) was also all over the field for LHU and made eight tackles to go alone with one interception.

The Bald Eagles opened the 2014 season last Saturday on the road at West Virginia State. Following a two hour and 27 minute weather delay, the Bald Eagles rallied for two touchdowns, but the rally came up short and LHU lost 19-14.

Lock Haven returns to action next Saturday, September 20 at noon when the Bald Eagles host No. 20 IUP. Next Saturday's game is "Faculty, Staff and Student Appreciation Day," and we are calling for a WHITE OUT.
