LOCK HAVEN, PA. – The Lock Haven University swim team (2-2) downed Mansfield University (3-5), 110-79 on the road today in its debut meet of 2015.

The Lady Eagles turned in an all-around Haven effort as LHU took first place in eight of eleven events.Â

Allie Muha (Millersville, Md./Severna Park) and
Taylor Andress (Berwick, Pa./Berwick) sparked The Haven with a 1-2 finish in the 1000-Freestyle. Muha hit the wall in 11.54.14, and Andress followed in 12:34.62.

From that point the Lady Eagles were  firing on all cylinders, finishing first in the next eight events.Â

Danielle Parowski (Altoona, Pa./Univ. of Pittsburgh)Â earned 18 points for LHU with two top finishes in the 200-freestyle (2:04.98) and 500-freestyle (5:26.76).

Freshmen
Jacquelyn Bingham (West Chester, Pa./West Chester),
Kali Hartt (Bay City, Mich./John Glenn), and
Christina Williams (Pennsburg, Pa./Upper Perkiomen) turned in a strong outing, propelling LHU to a Haven victory.
Â
Hartt earned two top-finishes in the 50-freestyle (27.54) before returning to the pool for the 100-backstroke. Hartt and Bingham earned a 1-2 finish hitting the wall in 1:05.21 and 1:07.24, respectively.

Bingham also earned a top-finish in the 200-IM, hitting the wall in 27.54.

Senior
Abby Miller (Levittown, Pa./Neshaminy) added another top-finish for LHU in the 100-freestyle event with a mark of 59.10.

Lock Haven posted a score of 110 through 11 events to seal a Haven victory.
Â
Mansfield recorded 79 points to earn second in the meet.
