KUTZTOWN, PA. – The Lock Haven University swim team (2-3) fell to Kutztown University (4-3) on the road, 108-79.

Danielle Parowski (Altoona, Pa./Univ. of Pittsburgh) and
Allie Muha (Millersville, Md./Severna Park) led the Lady Eagles with top-place finishes in the 1000-freestyle and the 500-freestyle.Â

Parowski recorded an 11:15.44 mark.

Muha and
Taylor Andress (Berwick, Pa./Berwick) dominated the 500-freestyle with a 1-2 finish. Muha hit the wall in 5:45.15 and Andress turned in a strong swim with a 6:13.44 mark.

Jackie Bingham (West Chester, Pa./West Chester) swam well, two seconds shy of a top-finish in the 200-IM. Bingham hit the wall in 2:20.65.

Parowski returned to the pool for the 200-freestyle and earned a second-place finish with a 56.93 mark.

Erin Kury (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) earned nine points for The Haven in the 100-breaststroke. Kury hit the wall in 1:24.41.

Joel Blesh added, "It was tough to have two travel meets back to back, but our swimmers kept giving their best the whole way through. It was another well-traveled meet, and we continue to be happy to see parents, fans, and alumni in the stands."

The Lady Eagles return to the pool Friday, January 23 when LHU travels to California (Pa.) for the two-day Vulcan Dual Meet Challenge (1 p.m.).Â
