LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's soccer team (6-6-1) lost 1-0 on the road today at West Virginia Wesleyan in non-conference action (6-6-1).
Akintunde Olajuwon scored the only goal of the match in the 17
th minute when he knocked home a Paul Smith pass.
Jonathan Howitt (Painted Post, N.Y./Corning-Painted Post East) made six saves for Lock Haven to keep the Bald Eagles in the game, and
Troy Amspacher (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) and
Jacob Oldaker (Elliottsburg, Pa./West Perry) did all they could to spark the attack with four shots each.
LHU returns to action on Saturday, October 17 when the Bald Eagles host Mercyhurst at 7:30 p.m.
