Gray Simons, a 1962 Lock Haven State College graduate and three-time NCAA wrestling National Champion was inducted into The Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame on Saturday (Oct. 24) night at the Valley Froge Casino Resort in King of Prussia.
Simons was part of a 12-member class that included Joe Paterno (football coach), Foge Fazio (football coach), P.J. Carlesimo (basketball coach), Eric Crabtree (football), Chuck Fusina (football), Chip Lutz (golf), Kristy Kowal (swimming), Matt Bahr (football), Neal Olkewicz (football) Bill Koman (football) and Ed Rendell (distinguished honoree).

Simons was part of the
Charter LHU Athletics Hall of Fame Class, which was inducted in June (2015).
