MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The No. 5 seed Lock Haven University men's basketball team (10-17) fell in a thriller today to No. 4 seed Millersville University (16-13), 74-67 in the first round of the PSAC Playoffs.
 
The first half featured up-and-down action, as both teams looked to play at a quick pace.
 
Millersville got off to a hot start and jumped out to a, 15-6 lead with 14:07 to play in the period, highlighting the MU quick starts was Anthony Moe, who threw down three dunks in the opening minutes of the game.
 
Lock Haven trailed by as many as 15 points in the first half, but The Haven did not give up and the Bald Eagles went on a, 15-4 run in the final 8:41 seconds of the half.  LHU trailed MU by just four, 32-28 after 20 minutes.
 
Bootsie Walker (Chester, Pa./Chester) had a strong first half for LHU.  Walker scored 10 points to go along with five rebounds and three steals in the half.
 
Lock Haven came out and stifled the Millersville offensive in the second half.  LHU held the Marauders to just 3-for-11 shooting in the first 10 minutes of the half.  With the game tied at, 42-42 with 13:22 remaining, LHU went on an , 8-0 run, building its largest lead of the game to that point, 50-42 with 9:43 to play.
 
Millersville hung around, however and the Marauders went on a, 7-0 run to take the lead, 59-58 at the final media timeout with 3:25 to play.
 
With the game tied, 64-64 with 1:33 to play, Millersville found Moe for an alley-oop to put the Marauders up two with 1:12 to play.
 
The dunk sparked an, 10-3 run for Millersville, sealing the win for the Marauders.
 
Walker finished with a game and career-high 23 points on the day.  He added nine rebounds.
 
Senior 
Wali Hepburn (Philadelphia/Neumann-Gorretti) scored 20 points on 8-of-15 shooting on the day.
 
Hepburn finishes his Bald Eagle career with 1,609 points, 4
th all-time in LHU history.
 
Moe led five Marauders in double-figures with 19 points and 18 rebounds.
 
This season marked the second consecutive post season appearance for the Bald Eagles.  LHU had not made back-to-back playoff appearances since the 1989-90 seasons.
