LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's basketball team (9-9, 5-9 PSAC) shot 56 percent from the field in the first half and
Amir Hinton (Philadelphia/Abington) finished the game with a team-high 27 points, but in the end the contest was a tale of two halves as Bloomsburg University (10-8, 6-8 PSAC) used a strong second-half push to down the Bald Eagles, 93-76.
Hinton was 11 of 18 from the field and he added two 3-pointers to go along with several monster dunks.
Ra'eese Hunt (Upper Marlboro, Md./Riverdale Baptist) added 17 points and
Jihad Barnes (Philadelphia/Philadelphia Electric Charter) scored 11.
Cole Renninger (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) chipped in with seven points, four rebounds and three assists.
Craig Slade (Philadelphia/Constitution) led all Lock Haven players with nine rebounds.
Lock Haven led 43-35 at halftime, but Bloomsburg took control in the second. The Huskies were paced by Christian Mortellite's game-high 33 points.
On Saturday (Jan. 28), LHU will host East Stroudsburg at 4 p.m.
