LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University swimming team (1-3, 0-3 PSAC) returned to action after nearly six weeks off, but fell to Kutztown (5-3, 2-3 PSAC) 131-90 at Zimmerli Pool.
During today's meet, the Bald Eagles took time to honor their lone senior –
Jackie Bingham (West Chester, Pa./West Chester) – for her many contributions to the program.
The Bald Eagles received a strong effort from
Kristin Allen (Willow Street, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) as she was able to win the 200-yard Fly with a time of 2:19.10. She also was able to place second in the 200-yard Backstroke with a time of 2:16.68.
The team of Allen,
Raechel Rodriguez (Coopersburg, Pa./Southern Lehigh),
Carly Ray (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./James M. Coughlin) and
Kirsten Pugh (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg) took second in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:58.49.
Rodriguez was also able to take second in the 200-yard Individual Medley with a time of 2:23.16.
