Lacrosse falls to No. 22 Seton Hill

LHU dropped a matchup with undefeated Seton Hill, 15-5, Tuesday afternoon at Charlotte E. Smith Field.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University lacrosse team (3-5, 3-4 PSAC West) dropped a home matchup with No. 22 Seton Hill (10-0, 9-0 PSAC West) in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West Division action.

Abby Katrinak (Strongsville, OH./ Strongsville) started the Bald Eagles off strong, scoring just 32 seconds in off an assist from Raleigh Bateman (Hanover, Pa./New Oxford). Katrinak notched an assist just minutes later on Addy Borkowski's (Eagleville, Pa./Methacton) goal as the Haven edged in front 2-0 at the 26:00 minute mark. The Griffins responded with four unanswered goals and built an 8-3 lead at halftime.

Borkowski and Braxtin Reddinger (Hanover, Pa./New Oxford) both found the net in the second half for Lock Haven, but Seton Hill pulled away behind five goals from Kate Kada.

In goal, Lauren Girardi (Watertown, N.Y./Watertown) totaled 10 more saves, which was her sixth game this season where she has registered ten or more saves. The 10 saves pushes her past 400 career saves at Lock Haven. Girardi's mark of 403 saves sits fourth all-time in LHU history.

Offensively, Borkowski led the Bald Eagles with two goals and Katrinak added two points on a goal and an assist.
