LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Lock Haven University swimming team hosted East Stroudsburg today in a thrilling Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) dual. The Bald Eagles won six of 13 events, but in the end the visitors slipped by Lock Haven 124-111 in another exciting early-season meet. Â
Lock Haven's Lauren Mummert (York, Pa./Northeastern) won two races - the 200-yard butterfly and the 200-yard backstroke. She also came away with a PSAC qualifying standard in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:57.42.Â
Emma Pequignot (Dover, Pa./Dover (Messiah)) pushed out an impressive performance today, getting the Bald Eagles a win in the 100-yard butterfly and a second-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly.Â
Makenzie Eades (Derry, Pa./Derry) claimed a victory in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:11.19. She also came through with a second-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle.Â
Sydney Houck (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon) won the 200-yard breaststroke and got second in the 100-yard breaststroke. KaceyMarie Berardinelli (Boothwyn, Pa./Archbishop John Carrol) helped the Bald Eagles keep this close dual even closer with a win in the 50-yard freestyle. Â
The meet came down to the final event, with the score separated by just four points. ESU (2-5, 1-5 PSAC) was able to edge out Lock Haven in the 200-yard freestyle relay for the dual victory, winning the meet 124-111.Â
The Bald Eagles excelled overall today and claimed victory in six different events. Â

Head Coach Jerry Hammaker and his team move forward and Lock Haven (0-4, 0-3 PSAC) heads to Wooster, Ohio, next to compete in the Wooster Invitational. The Bald Eagle will be action for three days at Wooster from December 1 to December 3.Â
