EDINBORO, Pa. - The Lock Haven women's basketball team (4-3, 2-0 PSAC) dropped a road conference contest with Edinboro University (4-3, 1-1 PSAC), 88-66, on Sunday afternoon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action.
The Bald Eagles and Fighting Scots got locked into a back and forth opening quarter after The Haven took an early 8-4 lead, but Edinboro grabbed a 24-18 lead after a late run to close the quarter.
Lock Haven grabbed a slight 21-20 advantage in scoring in the second quarter and closed the gap to 44-39 at the halftime break.
The third quarter, however was all Edinboro and a 20-8 burst pushed the Scots ahead 64-47 heading into the final ten minutes.
Edinboro kept The haven at bay for the remaining quarter and grabbed the conference win 88-66.
Brooke Lawyer (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic) and
Taylor Leidy (Alexandria, Pa./Juniata Valley) paced the Bald Eagles attack notching 18 and 14 points, respectively.
On the glass,
Alana Robinson (Rockaway, N.J./Pope John Paul II) and Leidy each grabbed five to lead The Haven.

The Haven gets right back on the court tomorrow (Dec. 19) when they travel to Mercyhurst. That contest is set for a 1 p.m. tipoff.
