Game 1: W, Lock Haven 4 – Wayne State 2
Â
LHU got things going in the top of the first as
Delaney Good (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg) and
Bella Schmitt (Dillsburg, Pa./Northern York) each scored on a Warriors' wild pitch.
Summer Peters (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) made the Lock Haven lead 3-0 when she took advantage of

Â
Sydney Arrigale (Blackwood, N.J./Highland Regional) notched the fourth and final run to give LHU some insurance in the sixth inning. The sophomore hit a sacrifice fly to center field, which scored R. McClellan and gave LHU a 4-2 lead.
Â

Â
Good and Schmitt both picked up two hits each for LHU, and Arrigale notched a base hit of her own.
Â
LHU held a slender advantage going into the seventh inning, but Hillsdale plated three in the top half of the inning and closed out the 3-1 win in the bottom of the seventh.
